Identive Expands Government Solutions Team

Adds Rich Anderson, Jeff Ogborn

With the increasing importance in the federal space on building lasting solutions that are trusted, compliant and that deliver results, Identive is continuing to invest in its government solutions business by expanding the depth and breadth of its government solutions team.

Identive’s government solutions team is a group of proven subject matter experts with the primary goal of serving the role of trusted advisor to our government partners, clients and colleagues in the complex areas of physical, logical, data and cyber security.

“Our mission is to aid our clients with developing simple, elegant solutions to meet evolving security and business challenges by helping them navigate the complicated world of federal regulations, mandates and standards,” said Scott Elliott, director of Government Solutions for Identive.

In addition to addressing mandated security requirements such as those surrounding HSPD-12, including FICAM, FIPS-201, FISMA and similar standards, the team assists our clients with mitigating risk and solving other underlying but important business challenges.

“With the addition of Rich Anderson and Jeff Ogborn, the Identive government team of subject matter experts is well prepared to continue developing and delivering relevant solutions to support the diverse security missions of our worldwide government clients in the civilian, intelligence, diplomatic and defense communities. I’m privileged to have them on the team,” said Elliot.

Rich Anderson joins Matthew Boerner on Identive’s government solutions team, further expanding the number of government sales managers providing support to its diverse and growing client base. As government sales manager, he will be responsible for developing Identive-centric collaborative solutions within domestic and international federal agencies.

Anderson has close to 20 years in the security and access control industry, most recently with Vumii Imaging, where he was the director of sales for radar systems designed to detect and monitor light aircraft. Prior to his time at Vumii, he spent 16 years with the Honeywell Corporation (formerly Vindicator) in various roles, most recently as director of international sales.

“I’m very excited to be joining Identive’s government solutions team as we look to expand our boundaries and open new doors within the government sector. I look forward to working with our customers to navigate the constantly evolving standards required for their high security and sensitive environments,” Anderson said.

Jeff Ogborn has been promoted to the role of government project manager. He brings many years of engineering and project management experience, including several years in various roles at Hirsch. Obborn started in the security industry in 1994 working with a major video solutions provider, and later with a major international systems integrator. He started with Identive in October 2010.

“The growth and opportunities presented by our broadening solution set here at Identive is truly exciting. I look forward to assisting the team and our customers in this new role by assuring they meet their constantly evolving security challenges while supporting our partners with providing innovative products and services to our expansive base of federal clients,” said Ogborn.
